IoT DATAlytics was founded by a father-son combination who have a multitude of experience in the IT and tech industry.
David Barker is a seasoned business executive having more than 28 years of leadership experience across systems and high end converged infrastructure, networking, collaboration and cloud.
David’s roles have included Managing Director of VCE in ANZ which was a joint venture between Cisco, EMC and VMWare, VP for Oracle Systems group, 16 years at Cisco Systems along with opening local offices in ANZ for Wellfleet Communications and Infotron.
These roles involved stints across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. David now lives in Australia.
Dan has twenty years’ experience in the IT industry and has an outstanding track record of success in pre/post sales technical support earning the highest level of Cisco certification "CCIE".
Dan spent 16 years at Cisco in varying technical positions from level 3/4 post-sales support, consulting in the advanced services group to very large financial institutions, government departments, dept of defence and finally pre-sales activities. With his strong communication skills, thirst for customer success has lead him to a sales career where he worked at a Cisco gold partner in a business development/account executive role.
He now takes on the role as Sales Director for the newly formed IoTDL and is excited by the opportunity to address the gap in Digital Transformation.
